Denise Carlsen - Northern Uganda and South Sudan

Praise Report

  • God has opened the doors to the many unreached tribes in the Sudan!

Prayer Requests

  • God's continued radical movement in my life, Missions to Unreached Tribes in Sudan and in the Church!

  • God to pour out His love into my brothers and sisters in Christ and into my enemies hearts! AMEN.


Jon and Allison Brechtel - Oaxaca Mexico

Prayer:

  • Pray for a young woman named Gabby. Jon and Allison will be helping her get established in the area and finding a room for her to rent.

  • Jon's got some new men at the treatment center. Pray for him as he starts teaching them the Bible basics.

  • That the church would grow.

  • Re land. They need God's direction and wisdom.

Rajiv KC - Kathmandu, Nepal

Praise:

  • Thankful for the coffee shop. Praying it will be a place to reach people. They need wisdom and strength to run it.

Prayer:

  • For the upcoming trip to Uganda.

  • That there would not be another lockdown coming.

  • Praying for wisdom and strength to lead, learn and teach in the Schools of Ministry and Worship and with the youth.

  • Pray for Rajiv's master classes.

  • For wisdom to teach the Book of Joshua in Bible College.

  • That his sister's move would go smoothly.

  • For his father's salvation.

  • For Rajiv's back.

Cal and Jessica Stubner, Managua, Nicaragua

Praise:

  • Praising the Lord for a donation that will cover Jessica's trip to the U.S. to visit her mom and family.

  • The Children's ministry building is coming along.

Prayer:

  • Prayer for Jessica's brother-in-law who wants to divorce her sister. Praying the brother-in-law would get saved and marriage restored.

  • Praying a lot of people come to church on Good Friday to see "Chosen" the first episode.

  • Men's meeting will start after Easter on Thursday. Praying they will come. Usually there's a shortage of men.

Gary and Carol Kusunoki

Praise:

  • Re: Uganda trip from 5/21/21 to 6/13/21. They've gone from 18 people to 21 and may be increasing to 22.

Prayer:

  • For the Monday, 3/29/21, 7:00 pm evening of praise and prayer. That God would show what He has for them, and what to do and not what to do.

  • For the Anchored non-profit. That the paperwork would go smoothly and quickly.

  • Some Naluko believers in the women's ministry have a pentacostal and prosperity doctrinal background. There's been an issue with an interpreter. If the interpreter doesn't agree with the teaching she'll translate it to what she wants.

  • Praying that the women would understand that a life with Christ is not boring, nor is it an emotional one.

  • Some would like to see more tongues and prophecy in the church, but Majok wants the church time to be orderly.

  • Praying that they would all be sensitive to the spirit in this area and open to their culture.

  • For the 5th Annual Senior Pastor and Wives Conference from 5/25/21 to 5/28/21. Pray for those coming from other countries like Kenya, Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda and the Congo - they need the funds for the Covid tests needed to get in and out of the country.

  • For travel logistics for the 21 person Uganda team. They will have about 63 pieces of luggage. Pray for the trip to the airport.

  • For the protection of the Uganda team and the details of the trip.

Charles and Levenia Jjagwe - Buwama, Uganda

Continue praying that God:

  • Would allow their electricity to work on a continual basis.

  • Grows the new believers and salvation of more souls.

  • Gives Courage to the new believers to attend Church programs against the threats and intimidation of their families and communities.

  • To destroy all the altars of witchcraft and sorcery in our villages.

  • Protection upon the church and my family.

  • God’s healing of my wife’s (Levenia) arthritis.

  • To provide for completion of the Clinic building which will be used to treat the sick people in the communities who are consulting witch doctors and this will be a great opportunity of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with the sick and their attendants.

  • To bring or raise up a person who can play the church equipment during the worship service.

  • To comfort the bereaved families of Pastors Fred and Chris for the death of the brother and mother, respectively.

  • To provide safety to our children who are at school; Esther and Deborah are currently at school and God to provide school fees for the other two who will be going back to school soon. Joshua and Aida will be going back to school in the next few weeks.


Juventine and Elizabeth Emuku, Soroti, Uganda Prayers:

  • Praying for rain because it's very hot in Soroti right now.

  • Pray they can get everything together for their son who is going back to in-person school. They need school fees and school supplies.

  • Please pray for the 18 students that are doing a 3-day outreach. Pray for favor with the village and that the Gospel goes out and people get saved. Lots of drugs and alcohol in that village.

  • Pray for the church kids who aren't allowed to attend church or Sunday School due to Covid. They are coming for a visit and are praying for them to be blessed.

  • Pray for his wife Elizabeth who has a girl's disciple class of 14 to 19 year olds.

  • Please pray for their land court case on Wednesday, 3/31/21, and they receive favor and it is resolved.

Luis and Karol Sanchez - Antigua, Guatemala

Please be praying for,

  • They are restarting the process of training up ministry workers. They have started a foundation class.

  • Pray for their younger son as he is used to hanging out with his older brother who's now at the age where he's hanging out with friends.

  • The Bible Institute. They have four students. Two of them are excited to graduate to go back and serve their communities.

  • Luis and Paula. Luis is in charge of the Bible Institute. His 42 year old wife is pregnant with twins. A little nervous about the life charges that are coming.

Mike and Sherill Sedillo, Naluko, Uganda

Praise:

  • Received a donation to put a well near Majok's home.

  • Sherill returns to California next Tuesday. They then visit family in Utah.

  • The solar installation is going well.

  • Thanking the Lord that He has brought them this far and gotten them through so many hurdles!

Prayer:

  • For Sherill to have a safe and trouble free trip back to California.

  • For the International NGO registration to be completed smoothly and quickly.

  • For the pig and chicken farm. That the Lord would give them wisdom to make it profitable. The hospital needs $6,000/month to pay for salaries.

  • For Sherill that the Lord would raise up people in Naluko and California to help her.

  • For the Solar Installation. That it would continue to go well.

  • For the water pressure. They're praying a solar pump will help with the water pressure.


Tim and Priscilla Ives - Chihuahua, Mexico

Prayer:

  • The Lord's guidance, provision and wisdom for a new building. Please pray for God's favor and open doors. God has been so good and already provided a lot of the money we need, but we are still short about half the amount we have been praying for.

  • Wisdom and creativity with how to use the temporary location we currently meet at on Sundays to minister to the people who come, welcome new people and still maintain social distancing. Also, wisdom for how to best minister to the children during this time.


Paul and Elizabeth Johnson - Rwanda

Prayer:

  • They leave for Canada April 15th. They want to get far enough along with the construction that they can lock it down before they leave.

  • They may not go to Canada because of the strict Covid restrictions. There are mandatory 3-day stays at Covid hotels that may be costly. Then they will still have to quarantine, after the 3-days.

  • If they don't go to Canada, pray that Paul can get a Rwanda driver's license.

  • Please pray for their personal fatigue. They've been working nearly seven days a week (morning to dusk) since Fall of 2019. They're 95% complete, but they need a rest.


Dan and Mihoko Bolinger - Iruma, Japan

Please pray for a fresh outpouring of His Holy Spirit to give us vision, wisdom, and grace.


Punkaj & Tonielle Sarkar - Kathmandu, Nepal

Prayer:

  • For the worship team who are getting ready for Easter.

  • That God would pour out his Holy Spirit on the Schools of Worship and Ministry.

  • A student from the School of Ministry and a student from the School of Worship have both lost family homes to fire. Please pray for them and their families.

  • For Levi as he has started in-person school again.

  • For God to bring them the right vehicle. They're waiting on the Lord.

Irám and Mayra Perez Tijuana, Mexico

Prayer:

  • Please pray for the training of the new Chaplains.

  • We want to reach all police stations in Tijuana (5 out of 11 so far).

  • For the construction of their new home.


Chris Martinez - Tijuana, Mexico

Prayer:

  • They are filing paperwork to be a 501(c)3 in the U.S. Pray it goes smoothly and quickly.


Mark and Isabelle Secor - Apache Indian Reservation, Arizona

Praise:

  • An eight year old accepted Jesus last Sunday.

  • Mark is doing the Sunday Service on Easter.

Prayer:

  • That there would be the joy of the Lord at the Hope Center.

  • That the Lord would bring more children to attend Sunday School to hear the Gospel.

  • Praying for more salvation and discipleship with the kids.

  • That the reservation churches would teach the word of God without twisting it, adding to it or taking away from it.

  • People would get saved, discipled, and walk in the ways of the Lord.

  • That the addictions of drugs, alcohol, porn and food would be broken.
