Update from Sherill and Mike in Uganda
We are all finally settled in here at H4A Naluko. Yesterday we held our Anual General Meeting and God showed up in a mighty way, as He always does! The enemy had plans but the Lord's hand upon us was greater! Praise the Lord for a great outcome!
It has been so exciting to see the outpatient serving the people here in the village. Please pray for Dr. Jones and Peter Anei (clinician) They are truly a blessing to us, as well as all the others, from the receptionist to the cleaners.
Mike Sedillo and Mike VanDeren have been working tirelessly getting a new air conditioner installed in the lab to protect the equipment from the heat. They have had a few glitches after getting it installed but they are still trying to figure it out.
The fencing on the 2 acres next to the compound has now started and well as the block wall around the guest compound.
We are heading back to Kampala to purchase a car we found! It well serve as an “ambulance” for the time being. Mike and Mike will be returning home on Tuesday. Their time here was not nearly long enough. We will miss them when they are gone. So special this morning in church as Pastor Abraham called them up and the whole church surrounded them in prayer to send them home. We truly feel so loved by the people we serve.
Prayer Requests: that the new flooring in the hospital can be done quickly and done well so we can get open. It is going to be a daunting job, but must be done!
The solar bids are coming in quite high, so please pray we can find a way to have solar for this property.
Please pray for Kelly and I as we begin a week of training with our two Midwives.
Thank you and Blessings in Jesus name.
